The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
